When I got mine, they didn't ask those on the LA e-visa website. I'm a WA resident too. Make a dry run on the site with LA and see what it says. It will cancel out or can be changed until you submit.

Unless you are spending the night in Korea, and they stamp your passport. it would be the US. I made that same trip 4 days ago!

Came back and forth twice through BKK, no problem. No documents needed. Seems like only people trying to extend in country has problems.

Wow! What a wild story. I guess I got lucky. I applied back in the US in early September, while I was home in the US under the "workcation" criteria. Just had a few emails back and forth and I had it in October. I am self employed and it took 2 extra document requests as I could only upload one each time. It took about 5 weeks and DTV arrived while in Thailand under 60 day standard stamp. Congrats on your long trek to get it done!
