Went in Central Plaza with my partner and she spoke with the staff. Bangkok Bank want a letter from my Embassy and K Bank wanted a work permit! I ll email the embassy tonight but have a crack in the tourist areas later in week. If not I'm back in April so will bring whatever req (and kitchen sink) and make an appointment.
can't see any reason why they would want passport authenticated. Went through UK, Netherlands and into BKK with passport so must be valid lol 🤷🙈. I'll try anyway.
To clarify. I am a UK citizen and my partner lives in Samut Sakon where I am staying currently. We will also be in Cha-am, Hua Hin and Krabi over next few weeks though
