obviously I have the right to stay in the country longer without having to leave. I am able to have personal bank accounts. 🤷‍♂️

define tourist and define long term resident. Has nothing to do with rights a foreigner has (or has not) vs the rights of a thai person.

i understand that after 1 year that its possible for for an extension not to renewed. But anyone on a long stay visa/ extension is still not classed as a tourist 🤷‍♂️

seriously? A Non o or non b resident is NOT a tourist. Simple as that. Still a guest, but not a tourist
