it’s all wrong had I lived in UK my wife could have got a Uk passport after 5 years seems to me should be the same here I have lived here since 2008

Yes that’s true but always happy to pay not happy with this discrimination it’s not as if we are bringing in the virus we have been here since the start the perception of some is that we are responsible for it

As I live here and have a Thai family surely I am not classed as a foreigner I used to be called farang many years ago now everyone calls me John

Unless you have a multiple entry stamp the visa will be non valid as soon as you leave you are right about 45 days but if you go and see your local immigration you might get lucky
