yes, corona lock down hit right before my company could get the letter for me. I was supposed to move and start my job end of March. Since then my company and I are waiting for me to be able to get in. I don't even have my own apartment, it's 4 months of waiting, trying to stay positive and patient and a lot of uncertainty. Tbh, I just wanna be able to do my work and have my own space again đ
You need a letter by BOI or ministry of labour first, that you are eligible to work in Thailand. You need that letter to be able to apply for the entry letter at this point and in general to apply for the work permit once in Thailand.
I keep in touch with the Consulate in Munich, seems to me they are a bit more helpful than the embassy in Berlin. Try to talk to the guy in the visa department, I think his name ist Xaver.
The BOI told my employer that they can't process anything until the emergency decreecis lifted. Hopefully that will be the case on the 30th of June. Then BOI and MOL are probably allowed to process new applications.
I'm in the same boat like your employee, it's very frustrating at the moment. Will have to wait so I can apply for my Non-B and I guess this entry approval.
Not american, but I don't think that's true. I got my non b in my home country. My only problem is that I don't have my actual work permit yet. That one I can only get over there. I probs have to apply for a new b visa though. I have to enter until the 16th of june and it doesn't look like I will be able too, but fingers crossed.
"Where can I get a health certificate" is the question... so I thought maaaaybe someone on here knows. I guess not, so that's sorted. Sorry for asking a simple question
