I employed a person, as a teacher, last March, who unfortunately traveled back to the States just before the COVID-19 pandemic took hold. He has since been stranded in the US. He does not possess a NON-B for Teaching, nor does he have a current Work Permit.
I called the Labor Office to ask about the requirement of WP3 form and they told me that the WP3 form is not a requirement for NON-B for Teaching, and that Foreigners must obtain the NON-B for Teaching first before re-entry into Thailand and then apply for a Work Permit once they are in Thailand. Though , The Thai embassy in the US still insists that I need to submit a request for work permit as part of a process for obtaining NON-B.
So, is the WP3 form one of the requirement to obtain non-b for teaching ? I even checked the list and it is not listed as a requirement for NON-B teaching. If a person can obtain a NON - B visa but not a work permit , can or when can he enter Thailand ?
I have been looking at doing a Tefl course in Thailand
I don’t have a degree but have been informed that it is ok .. guarantee of work on completion and working with a tourism visa with pay going into a Thai bank account..
