So just to clarify — if I apply through the eVisa website, and I’m Hungarian, does my application automatically get routed to the Thai Embassy in Hungary for approval?

In other words, is the eVisa platform mainly a centralized system for collecting applications and then distributing them to the relevant local embassies for processing?

I’ve noticed that when people refer to the local embassy, they often mention that documents like bank statements don’t need to be translated, since the staff can understand the local language.

Is that actually the case? How does it work in practice?
