Don't think that the banks only pick on Farang. My Thai wife changed her sim card. 2 separate days 2hrs and 4hrs going from one shopping centre then another needed a receipt from sim company to prove it was her phone.

Not a problem, had ponter finger lost. Just show officer prior to scan

I did in Aust. Cost about $8000. Need good scanner/computer upload as much info as possible like photos, phone calls, plane tickets, references in Thailand and Australia. Day one you pay the money however the lady gets a Medicare card and is allowed to work. A lot of effort but can be done over time. It takes 12 months to obtain permanent residency.
