Do sweat it . Small fine, no stamp for over stay

not possible, Vietnam has electronic application. Takes to much time. Border run. But in reality they are not going to do anything for 3 days. No stamp just a fine of they wish to. I had over stay for week and immigration officer laughed and said they love making extra money. Paid a small fine no stamp. He said over stay is no serious under 30 days.

I never seen the 40k method by anyone before only seen the 0. I did look it up and I do see the . Never seen anyone use this method but it doesn't matter for most since so many embassy will not do the affidavit.

you can't use the monthly deposit on the first year. The 0 is required and than on next extension if your embassy provides affidavit. American embassy doesn't do it.
