thanks for your input. Yes, Cyprus is not exempt unfortunately. It's is however eligible for visa on arrival. Or regular visa, which the consulate told me to obtain on thaievisa.go.th.

I called that consulate and I spoke with the consul. He said we must apply for evisa because this is now all done online. That visa costs 35€ and is valid 30 days. We have done it before, so I don't have an issue with this. My question was how much is visa on arrival because they didn't know in consulate and my family is eligible for this kind of visa as long as we stay less than 15 days
