hi John, i dont undertstand why people cant be nice on here. From what I see on the Canberra embassy site is that married have been able to return all this time - its the exemption from AUD that is the issue. I did notice end of September the exemptions now include more categories and retirees - so maybe the AUD GOV are becoming more reasonable.
