😅 I don’t think it makes much difference, nor do I believe the Embassy or Consulate will be too concerned about whether you’re currently in Vietnam or not. Since I haven’t lived in Vietnam for a long time, I don’t have a long-term rental contract or recent bills paid in Vietnam. If you’re living in Vietnam, you can submit a recent utility bill or your rental contract for the "indicating current location" section (I submitted a hotel booking). That’s the only difference.
Yes, exactly. I work for a company outside of Vietnam, so I just printed out my contract for them. If you’re a freelancer, you can simply compile your contracts from the past 6 months. If you want to be extra thorough, you could also include your work history. That’s just my suggestion. They only requested one of these documents, and there’s no need to have the contract certified. 😊
I’m a Vietnamese citizen, but since I don’t live in Vietnam, I applied as a foreigner. For the "document indicating current location" section, I submitted a hotel booking for where I’m staying. One person can submit the application on behalf of everyone, but each person still needs to fill out their own form, attach a photo, provide proof of relationship to the main applicant, and pay the $340 fee per person.
Yes, I believe so. I used USD. I'm not entirely sure what exchange rate they rely on, so I checked it on Google and added a little extra, just to be on the safe side.
