Thanks Tod. I used the 'old' route before for the Non-Immigrant OA Visa, and just assumed that I had to go down the same path. Appreciate you comments and advice

Ah, ok Tod, thanks for that, I'll have a look. I was using the non-evisa route on their website and I wasn't getting anywhere

Thanks again Anndey. I assume that once the STV is approved, I can then cancel the 90 days booking, or is proof of that booking still required somewhere along the line?

I want to stay for as long as possible. The STV gives the opportunity for 270 days, but not a straightforward application, whereas the SETV is more straightforward but with a maximum of 90 days.
