I just went to the triple A web site and found the following for k8 •Not party of 1949 Convention: International Driving Permit Honored. I read they were not part of the convention however they honored it.

I drove a State Petroleum Company own expensive vehicle. I lived there for eight years. Without that endorsement they would not allow me to drive or to fully insure the vehicle.

I don’t know how to explain that. I had accidents, caused mainly by third parties I had some few minor hit and runs to the vehicle, the insurance Co always paid and the police always honored the endorsement together with the Texas DL. Once I got a parking ticket and they removed my license plates returned once the fine was paid.

The year 2017 was my last one I was there, in case something has changed after that. But thank you for bring it up.. I always try to research and it was worth it. I do not drive anymore I ride planes, trains, shared rides, mini vand and buses the mass transportation allows for freedom.

Texas, and to be use in Kuwait for almost 8 years renewing it every two years another money making business. -International Driving Authority offers you three price categories: if you choose 1 year International Driving Permit, it will cost you $39.99. If you prefer to apply for a 2 year International Driving Permit, you will have to pay $54.99. If you want your International Driving License to be valid for 3 years, it will cost you $69.99.

Exactly! The actual american driver’s license from his US state plus the endorsement both need to be shown. Also you need to know not all countries are affiliated to this agreement or DL scheme. The United Nations 1949 Geneva Convention on Road Traffic, and the 1968 Vienna Convention on Road Traffic.

Danny Bassin Dear fellows sorry for the misunderstanding. I live in Canbodia the country on the other side. But in Cambodia the United States government does not deliver SS monies to those banks however they do to Thailand.
