😳. I have money in their bank, and my wallet was stolen in Vietnam, and the criminals tried to use my ATM card and tried to log into my account. So they locked my account. Told me I had to go to Thailand to show my passport before they would unlock my account . That was four years ago. I plan to go back to Thailand in a few weeks. I hope I don't have a problem. So what did they tell you?

Another question ...I was told if I wanted a 60 day visa, I must show my bank account for several months. Do they actually ask for this? I have two bank accounts. I have a Bangkok Bank account that's currently locked. My ATM card was stolen in Vietnam before the pandemic, and the criminal tried to use the card, and hack into my online account. So Bangkok Bank locked my account and won't help me unlock the account until I go back to Thailand and show my passport. My other American account doesn't have much money in it, because I keep almost all my money in the stock market.
