I got much footage from the cells but none from prison. Happy to share some privately but only a couple as media outlets are chatting with me

that's where I went wrong, should have kicked over what was asked but not only did I say no I disrespected the Thai police. I was walking along Pattaya beach seen an iPhone tried using it to contact owner, no luck started walking to soi 9 police station and was pinged to me on find my phone app. I had 2 phones, I will never try and return someone's lost possessions again not even now I am back in Australia.

the judge set Buchan doer for 20k baht and asked if I wanted to stay. I said no, I want to go home. Thai prison is hard for a non Thai speaking Farang. The judge then said at 500 baht a day I had satisfied 20k. I then was released from Nong Pal Lai. And immigration said I had overstayed my visa, sent to soi 9, banglamoong, jomtien then IDC and deported.

I'd feel the same if it was different circumstances. I am happy to let you know the whole story but not publicly. I've done many wrong things many years back but them days are long gone. Not everyone in Thailand prisons are guilty, it's just your guilty until proven innocent there. If I had 20k baht in my pocket this would not have been a conversation. I disrespected the Thai police at worse nothing else

hope so mate, best to contact Thai embassy I think. On 1st appearance I could not understand anything, paperwork or judge but on the update after 48 days the embassy finally got me a translator. Thankyou for your non judgemental advice, it isn't as it seems. I've done many things I am not proud of decades ago but I was stitched up for this

caution money. Thai law is something else, no interpreter until 48th day, 4 weeks is 48 days, guilty until proven innocent basically. I love Thailand not the system some are subjected too

it was a dodgy case of policing, I was walking along Pattaya beach seen an iPhone tried contacting owners and started walking to soi 9. The phone got find my phone app and pinged it to me. I felt I did nothing wrong wouldn't give them baht so they charged me with theft. I have only just found out what all the paperwork means as it was never translated. I will never try and return someone's phone to them again. I had 2 personal phones on me and I was disrespectful to the authorities at soi 9. Not all farangs are rich I've got money but not well off, I regret what's happened but the Thai prisoners showed me more care and humbleness than any farang and I do not know Thai. I will continue to support them now, never forget
