there are no supporting documents required to become an Elite member, unlike other visas. Just complete the form and once you pass the background check, you pay the membership fee and you're done.

concierge, help with banking & insurance, discounts at hotels & restaurants, invitations to investment seminars....etc.

I joined when the Elite visa was offered for life, this option is no longer available. I never have to leave Thailand, if I do not wish. I can do the 90 day report online OR I can go in person, if I go to Immigration in person, I am not subject to any queue. I simply identify myself as an Elite member and I am processed immediately, so my 90 day report (in person) takes less than 5 minutes to complete.

True Stephen, you cannot have a Non-B and an Elite visa at the same time.

That is if Bt. 270/day is too expensive...
