Good for you if all went well! But why call others naysayers only because your wedding and marriage life went perfectly? Many foreigners get scammed by Thai ladies over marriage. I know a guy who committed suicide after he gave all he had to his so-called wife and brothers to start a hotel business and he got kicked out once the business started doing well! This is a sad reality, unfortunately not to be ignored based on some fairy tales that worked perfectly!

All this would have just turned me off and I would have backed out! Just take a short break from her and try to reason through this without emotion. Being single is not a disaster after all!

well he did not mention where he would like to live. My estimate and recommendation is for living comfortably in downtown Bangkok. My son is currently living comfortably in Asok area in Bangkok with a $2000/month budget. Sure if he lives in the jungle in Thailand he might not even spend 100baht a day! Location is definitely decisive!

Put $1000 aside for fixed costs like rent, utilities. Then you can work out a decent lifestyle, nowhere close to fancy, but just fine. You can save for a few months, then use the savings for some traveling across Thailand or to some neighboring countries. But in my opinion $3000/month would have been perfect!

You should remove your previous passport and then upload your new one. You cannot add new file. You need to delete previous file first.
