Ok that is what I was hoping, I will only spend 30 days in Thailand in total, but did not want to cause proplems at the airport for overstaying 2 weeks

The day I arrive inBKK I will fly out again to Vietnam and return 2 weeks after to Thailand, is it upon this return I need to renew my 30 day visa?

I'm British, will fly Manchester-BKK return. I was led to believe I'm only allowed 1 month in Thailand, but my query is I'm I allowed to stay 6 weeks from start to finish if I split the trip with 2 weeks outside of Thailand?
