So if I cancel the non-b first and then apply for the Extension 60 Day Family Visit?

Thanks Robert, yes my contract expires 31st March, but I have documents from my school which asks immigration to cancel the visa on the 31st March even if I go on a date before then.

Thanks Robert, I don't want to change employers or keep the WP. I would like to get a Extension 60 Day Family Visit based on being married to a Thai. Is it possible to get this extended onto my current Non-B which will expire on the 31st of March? We have all the necessary documents for the Extension 60 Day Family Visit and my wife will be present with me tomorrow. Thanks in advance

Hi Michael, Was there a cost for the letter? I'll need to get one myself from the Embassy on Monday and go to CW immigration maybe on Tuesday. Can you let me know how it goes and also when they issue the extension of 30 days if they issue it from the day you arrive with the letter or if they add the 30 days onto the last day of your current visa?

Would be wishful thinking.... I'm married and I wonder would they issue 60 days instead of 30 days if my wife is present with me like they have done before. Probably not I'm guessing. Thanks in advance. Much appreciated

I have done it both ways , once with my wife and the next time without . That is how I confirmed this. Aug 2019 last time.

For future reference Marty me old pal and for anyone else this might help. If your wife is present with you ( thats the important part or else you are only entitled to 30 days) you can choose between a 30 day extension and a 60 day extension when you extend your stay on a visa exempt . I have never seen this mentioned on this forum before so I hope it helps someone out. Keep up the great job your doing folks.

Take your own photo to save 200 baht. The digital photo service by immigration is 200 baht of the 1200 baht fee. Costs 1000 if you bring your own photo and glue it on the page instead. A saving of 400 baht for two people.
