I keep my DTV amount separate in my Schwab Savings account.. You can spend and use any or all of it, but I'd be sure to have the full amount back in my chosen bank account for leaving and coming back in at the 6th month mark, as they don't normally ask to see it, but at their discretion they can ask to see it, and it would be good for you to be able to show them you do still have the whole amount still, should they ever ask, if they ever do..

I've found inconsistentcy is consistent in Thailand, so better to be prepared than not.. ✨
