 one more question of you don't mind. This 30 extension on the arrival stamp. Is there a deadline before it expires that I need to get the extension approved, or can it be done on the spot at the immigration offices after paying the fee?

 I'm honestly still confused by your answer. A 30 day visa on arrival. If I leave the country by land and pop into Malaysia I come back with a new visa on arrival... Am I only able to do this twice a year?
