I figured that. The thing is. In order to get a 1 year multiple entry visa, i need a WP that has 8 months left, i think. And i renewed it april 4th. So that doesnt give me a lot of leeway. But i guess the Penang consulate will give a bit leeway.

Anyway, when you say, im good untill july 30th, does that mean i dont have to do anything. I do think that i will be able to get to Panang before july 30th.

Ok, so lets say I make a border run late may, and get stamped for 3 month when I get back, what happens to that stamp, when I get back on June 1st when the visa is expired. Is that stamp still valid?

Ok, but back to my original question. If my visa expires on June 24. How soon before it expires, can I apply foe a new one. And I am travelling with infants, so we are going straight to Bangkok. So I have to get a new visa before we leave, on June 8. I am guessing up to a month before, should be ok?

afaik, the only place to get a 1 year, multiple entry visa in Penang. I can't get it in copenhagen.
