it seems the easiest way to be fair. And I can afford to leave £10k sitting forever if I need to.

it’s a minimum of £2k. My wife has income. And my 21 year old daughter may not come to Thailand, more than likely she won’t. But she’s financially independent of me now already.

I’d also consider buying a business for my wife to run in her name etc

I think, depending on baht vs sterling I’d have 80-100k baht per month from my investment offshore.

oh without a doubt

Investment is offshore by a British company so would never move it all into any country - Thailand included

I think I would just leave 400k in the bank rather than try and prove income. But I’ll speak to my financial advisor

that was my first trip to Thailand and everything was very cheap- never been the same since.

I’ve a few more years until I can sell up and move to Thailand but I’m obsessed with watching money rates.
