what are the steps to take for that ? I’m currently married to her legally for America but in the process now of getting the marriage certificate signed by the Secretary of State, department of state and finally the Thai embassy in Washington for the marriage to be legal in Thailand and for her to name change etc. but after this I have no idea what visa she needs and the fastest one because as I stated I am a soldier and can’t just up and leave to see her at any time and from a few people I know they told me marriage visas and a few others have a 12-36 month waiting period for approval which is insane for me to not see my spouse.
skills ? I have security plus and digital marketing certifications currently definitely not worried about skills as of now and also would not be able to use any skill for my first 4 years either way since it’s a requirement for me to do on campus classes for support from the Va. but I understand your concern
exactly what I was thinking which is why my plans is to use my gi bill for a bachelors of communications learning Thai at at university full time which will be paid for along with a 2,000 stipend each month for 4 years and anything after I’m hoping that speaking Thai fluently will open a lot of doors by the time I need to actually start working.
