ALL Immigration offices in the country will be closed the following days
Monday April 6th
Monday April 13th
Tuesday April 14th
Wednesday April 15th
Plan accordingly.
Remember IF you have a stamp that expires on a day the immigration office is closed (weekends or holidays) and you go the very next day they are open you can get your extension like normal will not be charged for overstay but you will get a thai language stamp that says "overstay xxx days fine waived due to holiday closure:"
Border crossings are open like normal and do not close for holidays.
1. Does it matter which immigration office (softpower)?
2. TM30 never filed, Problem?
I have the softpower Visa, do I have to go to the immigration office near my muay thai gym (Phuket) or can I also go to (Koh Samui)? I mean do they check if you actually train there?
Also I have been living with my girlfriend, that owns a house and she has not filed a TM30 in 3 months, is it a problem? Or just stay at a hotel for one night and get a TM30 from there, no questions asked?
How strict are they at the immigration offices about softpower DTVs there?
I hope someone can help. How long before a sixty day tourist visa expires can you extend it with another thirty days? Having some difficulty finding an answer. Thanks for your help.
Hi again guys, thanks a lot for your helpful answers to my question a couple of days ago! I'm hoping someone here can help me with this question too. I believe that not all immigration offices do all services, but I can't find whether there are only specific ones that do 90 day reporting or not. I'm in Silom - does anyone know which is the best office for me to visit for 90 day reporting? Thanks a lot!
I am renting in lower Sukhumvit, seeking “Extension of Visa”. Is there a satellite Immigration office nearby? If not, where is the closest Thai Immigration Office to be found? Thanks for helping steer me.
