For what purpose, if doing extension etc you dont do at the airport.

The main immigration office is in Saphan Hin Phuket town, there is one in Patong as well, also another one up north sonewhere.

we have just left Phuket town visa office and once we purchase new insurance we must get an extension stamp at the airport. Any idea where to get this?

You have come to Thailand on a 1 year Non-O retirement, and when you come here, how many months/days does the stamp you get in the airport when you arrived say?

Non O or OA visa, because O visa doesnt require insuramce.

Could she not get the required insurance in Thailand without having to leave the country ?

Of course she can get the insurance inside thailand, but I guess she can’t get a new stamp without to leave to country.

It sounds like the problem is that she didn’t have insurance for her hole stay so she just get the stamp for how many days she had insurance.
