Apologies if this has already been asked before (I'm sure it has) ...

How long before the expiry of your NON-O (Thai Spouse) Visa can you apply for next year's thrilling instalment?

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can apply for a NON-O (Thai Spouse) Visa extension when you have 30 days or less remaining on your current visa at any immigration office in Thailand. Some offices, like those in Bangkok and Chiang Mai, may allow applications when there's 45 days or less left. It's safe to wait until 30 days before expiration to ensure compliance, and applying early does not reduce the length of your next visa.

I was told 45 days before is OK in the Buriram immigration office. Very quiet, every time I've visited.

Tough to pin down seeing as you didn't mention which of the 80+ immigration offices you get your yearly extension at ๐Ÿ˜•

You're safe at ALL offices applying when you have 30 days or less left on your current stamp. (y)

You don't lose any time going early because the next year extension is added to your expiration date..

SOME offices allow you to do it when you have 45 days or less left (Bangkok, Chiang Mai, etc) but you're always safe with 30 or less :)

30 days or less is the rule to follow (y) unless you're going to slog on over there and ask them yourself ๐Ÿ™‚
