This is for info only.

Kanchanaburi IO. Non Imm O. I have just done my first 90 day report online, no need to go to office. Accepted on second attempt. Submitted 14:08 returned 15:33. Fastest turnaround I've had.

Hello, anyone know the covid visa rules ?

My bf's visa got cut for 2 days by mistake (he was going to change the job and the karnchanaburi immigration stamped cancle the visa same date as the cancellation of WP (19th july), even we have a letter from the company mentioning that his visa should be cut on the date 8th next month)

So basicly he is overstay 2 days without any preparation. We didnt plan to leave thailand just want to change the job!

Bangkok immigration told us to apply for 60 days covid visa, pay the fee and tranfer the visa to non b again.

Is this possible, anyone have any information about this? I couldnt find and info of the covid visa on immigration site.

Thank you so much we are really in a bad situation.

Trip on Tuesday to Kanchanaburi IO resulted in a new one year extension based on retirement, out and in in 25 minutes. It's never busy at the best of times but the office was empty.

The only difference from last year was, 2 of the 4 declaration forms had been changed to apply to Kanchanaburi office, and the generic ones I downloaded were no longer accepted. 2 minute delay to fill in the new ones.

I did get a laugh and a disbelieving look when I asked for more copies for next years application :)

No commenting needed, thanks for the year-round help this group provides.

FYI 90-day online reporting for those using the Kanchanaburi Immigration Office.

I submitted my 3rd-in-a-row 90-day application on Monday 14th, followed up by a polite email notifying them it was pending. Today 16th it was approved and I also got a reply email to let me know it was approved. Good service all round and saves me a 320Km round trip. No system issues using Safari on a Mac.

I will be reporting in person on the 28th Jan when I return from a trip abroad to do a TM30 and plan to ask if I can sign up as an individual for the online system. Fingers crossed.

Todd and Robert keep up the great work :)

Went to Kanchanaburi Imm office Wednesday to renew my one year extension of stay based on retirement. Took every paper I could think of; also applied for multi entry re-entry permit and did my 90 day report while there in person. In and out with all 3 completed in 30 minutes.

The only query - was asked if i'd done all my 90 day reports. The first one was done in person and since then I have used the online system (saves me a 5 hour round trip). I was asked to show the 'approved' paper and the printed 'next report' slips and fortunately I had them all with me. The IO spotted that she in fact was the person who approved my online applications and just completed the application herself.

Finally just to say this office has actively been promoting the use of the online 90 day reporting system. For info I use Safari on a MacBook with no issues.

Morning, simple question.

I am renewing my 1 year extension of stay based on Retirement at Kanchanaburi office soon and am gathering all docs.

I have downloaded the '3 docs' from the page 'Files' and previously I completed 1 and 3 but I have not seen 2 before.

What is it for and am I likely to be asked to complete one? If so does it need signatures from anyone besides myself and the immigration officer? Thanks.

Just a heads up that I can confirm success using the online 90 day reporting system for the Kanchanaburi Immigration Office. My application stayed on 'pending' for a week, but a quick phone call and it was changed to 'approved' the same day. (Note I use Safari on a MacBook Air).

Just sharing information. I did my first 90 day report in person this week at the Kanchanaburi Immigration office and was told that I can use the online system for future reports.

Since arriving here in June for hopefully a long-term residence, since then I have changed my visa from an extended SETV to a 90 day, non imm O based on being over 50. I then extended for 12 months and bought a multiple re-entry permit at the same time. This was all completed at my 'local' office (6 hour round trip) in Kanchanaburi, which I now believe from reading the posts here, to be one of the more demanding offices regarding paperwork. The reason for this post is to thank Tod Daniels and the team here for advice which quite frankly saved me a lot of time and hassle.

I have just returned yesterday from a 2 week trip to the UK and was through immigration with nothing but a smile from the IO at Suvarnabummi Airport in 2 minutes. Today I am heading to Cambodia for a week from Don Muang and am confident my re-entry will be trouble free, so thanks for the help.

Typically I also got a home visit from the Immigration Officer while I was in the UK. Again it was all handled very amiably on a LINE video call and my g/f knowing where I keep all my copy documents helped. His English was pretty good and he seemed happy to revisit on my return as he still wants to meet me.

Now i need to get my head round a new TM30 and 90 day reporting!
