TLDR : Answer Summary
A user from the USA in Korat, Thailand, asked about the possibility of obtaining another extension after already extending their stay by 60 days, totaling 90 days, from a visa-free entry. Responses confirm that they can apply for another 60-day extension related to COVID-19 unless the immigration office denies it, or alternatively, apply for a one-time 30-day extension based on tourism. The conversation emphasizes variations in immigration policies across different regions in Thailand.

David has the correct answer to his question. If there's further questions about the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19, see my "pinned/ featured" post. Thank you

IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Different immigration offices have different policies. Advice given for Kanchanburi may not apply for Phuket (for example). The poster is using Korat ("Nakhon Ratchasima"). Advice about Kanchanburi isn't relevant, and won't be helpful.

Definitely apply for the 60 day covid extension, and save your 30 day extension as a last resort.

If you entered "visa free", you entered on a 30 day visa exempt.
If you got ONE 60 day extension, that would be a 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. This would give you a total of 90 days.
You can EITHER:
1. [BEST OPTION] Apply for another 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19. This is the best option because you can get "unlimited" of these extensions, until the immigration office says "no" (or the stop selling them) OR;
2. Apply for a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism. A person can get ONE 30 day extension of stay based on tourism for each entry.
See my pinned/ featured post for more information about the 60 day extension of stay based on unable to travel due to COVID-19.
