I live in CM but currently in Khon Kaen for a few days. My 90 day report is due. Does anyone know if I can easily do it at immigration here? Thanks in advance. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿผ

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user asks if they can complete their 90-day report at the immigration office in Khon Kaen while currently staying there, instead of at their home office in Chiang Mai. Responses suggest that while online reporting is an option, it typically needs to be done at the immigration office where the visa extension was originally obtained. One commenter confirms that they were unable to report in Khon Kaen without a TM30 form showing a local address.

FYI - I was finally able to speak to someone at KK immigration and they told me that unless I can provide a TM30 with a KK address then I can not do the 90 day report there.

you can file a 90 day report in person 15 days before down until 7 days AFTER it's due with no fine. Even if you miss the window to file, I'd just wait until you're back and file one late in Chiang Mai, take the 2000baht failure to file penalty and chalk it up to experience.

OR

Try the online portal and see if you can get it to go thru using the chiang mai address that you used when you got the extension and where your TM30 was filed.

By mail works very well...

Unfortunately
@Fr**
, your mail in 90 day report has to be postmarked 14 days before your due date (or at least that's the posted policy) :/ Might not work for the O/P

OK... I'm sure that I have mailed mine several days late many times with no problems but... TIT.

if you mail it in after 14 days they usually put a red stamp right on your 90 day report receipt that they mail back cautioning you to mail it before 14 days or they can deny it

You could try online, (seeing as you can use that service from 15 days before down until your due date) BUT as a rule you have to do your 90 day report at the immigration office where you got your extension.

I'd say all you can do is call the Khon Kaen immigration office and see.

AND

IF they let you do it hope that it doesn't screw you up once you go back to Chiang Mai and try to do your next report too

Iโ€™m on a two year work permit. Issued in CM. No one answers the phone at KK immigration but Iโ€™ll keep trying. Thanks for the advice.
