Due to personal circumstances, I won't be going to Suvannakhet today, however, I'll be going in a month & will post how the experience (rectal exam 555) went. I can however, update & give correct & accurate information if you're marrying a Thai lady (as a foreigner) in Korat, particularly Amphur Sikhiu.
