What should I do if my extension of stay based on my Thai spouse is still pending approval?
Reported on December 2 to pick up my extension of stay based on Thai spouse. The approval had not arrived by then and we are still waiting. We were told immigration was very busy and they would get in touch with us when it arrived. We are still waiting. Any one else in this situation? We go to the Nakhon Ratchasima office. I believe the gentleman was a volunteer. My passport is from the US.

Totally NOT unheard of that the under consideration is taking longer and I wouldn't worry about it BUT I would contact them via phone to check every couple of days to keep it in their mind

My opinion is to return to the immigration office and ask to talk to an immigration officer (NOT a volunteer). Confirm with them that the "Under Consideration" stamp will be closed out later.
