Will have 500k tbht in my account in a month for soft power application, Can I apy for DTV from another country then? 

I don’t want to fly back to Australia to apply .. family of four

Yes, and it seems to me like they want you to maintain that balance for the duration of the visa. I wouldn't be surprised if they ask to see updated statements when applying for an extension or entering again in the future. I'm just going to mantain that balance while maintaining this visa

FYI— it is 60 days + 30 days Extension on top of that 60 days to get to 90 days....

Vietnam, Jakarta are easy to apply from with a month balance of 500K plus other statements, 6 is best to avoid requests for more. There is a recent post from a NZ family of 4 who applied in Jakarta, check that out.

Not all, Laos 3 months, Malaysia possibly 6mths. Vietnam, Cambodia, Jakarta, Taipei, Yangon are ok with a month ending balance of 500K plus several months' statements. You can read the threads to confirm this from successful applicants.

We have until.Jan 25 for the 60 days..so we can probably have a month and a half time to keep the funds in account before applying

you should have applied in Australia. online evisa, only took me 7 working days to get approved.
