I am a little bit confusing with insurance asked for non o visa. I already have a health insurance but it doesn’t take Covid in charge. Do I need to buy an other insurance for covid ? Is there a specific amount asked ? Thanks ...

TLDR : Answer Summary
For a Non-O visa, it is essential to have health insurance that specifically covers COVID-19. You should check with your current health insurance provider to see if they can provide a cover letter indicating that COVID coverage is included, with a minimum coverage amount of $100,000 USD. If your current insurance does not cover COVID-19, you may need to purchase additional insurance. Approximate costs for COVID-19 coverage insurance for a three-month entry period are around 8,000 baht, with providers like AXA and Arawan Namak mentioned as potential options.

Let me rephrase the question: What reason do you want a Non-O visa? Is it because of:

- Being over 50/ "retirement"?

- Marriage to a Thai national?

- Raising half-Thai children?

- Something else?
