My Thai wife and I will be arriving in Thailand on December 4th. I am in the process of getting my Non- Immigrant O 90 day visa. Can I get a 30 day extension if we decide to stay a little longer? Will I need the standard $50,000 US dollar Covid insurance? I read somewhere I would need 100,000 since it was over 30 days. Seems like every website is a little different. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The individual is seeking clarification on whether they can extend their Non-Immigrant O visa for 30 days after arriving in Thailand and whether they need to provide $50,000 or $100,000 in Covid insurance. According to a comment, a 30-day extension is not available for this visa type, but a 60-day Family Visit extension can be applied for if the spouse is present with marriage documents. The insurance requirement is confirmed to be $50,000.

There is no added 30 day extension available to you when entering on a Non O Married to Thai visa. You are stamped in for 90 days.

However...you may apply for a 60 day Family Visit extension.

Wife must be with you with proof of Thai marriage documents ...

at Thai immigration 1,900 Thai baht fee.

The insurance required is $50,000 not $100,000
