i got my insurance policy from usa they sent me a letter , it does not state specifically covid insurance although another letter i have does state that it covers covid treatment. no amounts are given, the amount is unlimited amount but i have a 5000 dollar deductable. i wonder if i send that in to thai consualate it would suffice for my covid insurance??
TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring whether their US insurance policy, which includes COVID-19 treatment but lacks a specific dollar amount for COVID coverage, will be acceptable to the Thai consulate as proof of COVID insurance for their visa application. Community comments suggest that insurance documentation must explicitly state the coverage amount for COVID-19 treatment. It is advised to obtain a cover letter from the insurance company or to consider alternative travel insurance policies that meet Thai requirements.
