What type of extension am I likely receiving if I was given an 'under consideration' stamp for my visa application?

Hello! Yesterday I went to the immigration office in Chaeng Wattana to apply for a 60-day extension of my 90 days Non O visa based on marriage. I'd printed out and filled in all the documents in advance. But at the front office I was given to fill in an application for covid extension. Immigration Officer reviewed my documents and accepted both applications - stay with family and covid extention. The whole process went smoothly, I arrived at 1.15 pm and left the office 2 and a half hours later.

Finally I received this under consideration stamp and have to appear at the immigration again on February 24. Could you confirm the stamp in my passport for what kind of extension is. Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user applied for a 60-day extension of their Non-O visa based on marriage at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office. They were informed that the 'under consideration' stamp in their passport is likely for a COVID extension, as there is typically no 'under consideration' period for family extensions. Community comments confirm that the user is likely on a COVID extension, noting it was beneficial as family extensions can generally only be applied for once per entry.

That is totally a covid extension based on "clause #5" (as directed by an officer).. It's got a 5.0 written on it.

And everyone is correct, a 60 day family extension is issued on the spot. Really worked out better that they gave you the covid extension because you can only get a 60 day family extension ONCE per entry, so at least you didn't waste it when you had another option for an extension.

Good of them to do that for you..

If your under consideration till 24 Feb then you'll most probably be on 60 day covid extension as there's no under consideration period for 60 day visit family extension. You just get the 60 day. You can still get the 60 day visit family extension at a later date but you can only get that once per (at most offices)

I've never done a family extension before, but I assumed there was no consideration. Thanks!

No clue as to which extension. Could be either...but if you filed the 60 day COVID EXTENSION application...I think that is what you are getting. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

One more detail: Although the officer from the front office gave me a covid extension application, I did not fill it in because I had already prepared this one for family extension. When checking the documents, the immigration officer handed me a blank covid extension form and told me to fill it out. That's what I did.
