This is my first time using the Notification of staying in The Kingdom (Over 90 days) โ TM 47, and as expected, it was not working ๐
I got the below messages in an email 24 hours after submitting the information online.
Your application for "STAYING LONGER THAN 90 DAYS" has been rejected.
**Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom/ Incorrect visa expiration date.
**
As you can read above, there are two reasons why the online registration was rejected. However, the dates I entered online are correct unless there is something I don't understand.
**Incorrect visa expiration date:
**I used the date stamped in my passport as the date where my NON-IMM Extention of stay is permitted to 8/11-2024
(so that date is correct)
Incorrect entry date upon entry into the kingdom:
As far as I understand, this is the date stamped into my passport on the latest day I arrived in Thailand after being abroad.
In my case, I arrived on 14/12-2023 at BBK Airport.
So the only thing I could've imagined is that I'm not supposed to use the latest arrival date, but instead, another date from the first time I arrived in Thailand or the arrival date before the one-year extension of stay was issued? **
**I know that that would not make sense, but could that be the case?
Has anyone experienced the same problem, or could you let me know what date to use?**
**
TLDR : Answer Summary
An expat faced a rejection of their TM 47 application for not properly entering the dates associated with their entry into Thailand and visa expiration. They were confused about which entry date to use. A commenter clarified that while the input dates were correct, the timing of the submission was outside the permitted reporting window, which should be within 15 days before the reporting due date. The correct approach is to submit the TM 47 application starting from 27 February 2024 or later.
