The question discusses the search for a tax accountant knowledgeable about cryptocurrency laws in Thailand. Comments mention the general taxation rules for cryptocurrency profits, the legality of cryptocurrencies in Thailand, the necessity of having an accountant, and queries regarding capital gains taxation for residents and non-residents. I thought there was no tax on crypto profits in Thailand?
/13/thailand-greenlights-income-tax-exemption-for-investment-token-earnings-report/ If I have interpreted this correctly the new exemptions started January 1st this year. used to be taxed.

I have questions about how capital gains are taxed for residents/non residents and if it's paid in or kept out of country. Also, Google shows varied tax rates so I would like clarity before moving to Thailand

Why do you need an accountant? They will either ask what or take more money off you then you will get if you get any. Nothing to do with visas then?

Is it legal in Thailand firstable?

There is no difference from any other business tax wise. Any profit made you pay tax on, and as with any other business you need a paper trail for all profit, and loss, with recorded dates. There are no special rules for crypto.
