For those who got their DTV in Asian countries and are from non-english speaking countries, did you have to translate your bank statement into English? I'm from France so my bank statement is in french.

TLDR : Answer Summary
Applicants from non-English speaking countries, such as France, are typically required to provide documents in English or Thai when applying for a Thai visa, including the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa). While some users reported that they did not translate their bank statements and submitted documents in French without issue, it is commonly advised to have translations available. Notarization by the embassy may also be required for translated documents in some cases.

I did the whole Dtv in France and didn’t translate anything. But maybe I was just lucky. I put letters in English, and summary of banks in English, but original documents were all in French. They don’t ask official translation though. So you can put google translation of documents for peace of mind,

I'm pretty sure they won't be translating 100 world languages on applicant's behalf. Either english or thai

Yes, only English or Thai. Some Thai Embassies want you to have the translated documents notarized by your Embassy.

but what if you apply in your home country? Is it also necessary to translate all into English or Thai?

check with the relevant embassy, it really does depend on if they can read the documents or not. And English is accepted everywhere as the primary business language hence it’s used in other places.

As far as I know, all embassies only accept documents in Thai or English. Well, at least here in Asia.
