Not read posts for a while, wondering if there is any change in the need for your physical presence for the 1st 90 day declaration, can you use an agent for it? Thnx
Is it possible to do the 90 Days Report by mail when you got a new passport (because ran out of pages)?
I already got an extension of stay on my new passport and everything was transferred, but I saw a specific warning about online reporting not being able to proceed if you got a new passport, so I'm wondering if the same applies when trying to mail it in.
Hi everyone! My friend lives in Bangkkk but will be travelling to Chiang Mai during the time he need to do his 90 day report. What are his options? Can he do it in another province from his original? Thank you.
90 days report by post to CW, I get slip after 32 days from the date I sent envelope to CW. So, as Tod advised previously, there is no worry as this can take double or triple time compared to “normal” before pandemic (4-6 weeks). I also noted that delivery was signed by Security Guard, and not by CW employee as before. I assume they get mail and then deliver it to Mueang Thong Thani to processing let’s say one time per week. So if someone still prefer reporting by mail, please use EMS and keep receipt until you get slip back. QA why I use report by mail is: if report online fails for any reason (as It failed for me couple of times before) , then I must do report in person, and this will cost me taxi + time + absence from work.
in days I will have to report 90 days in Bangkok, I will try to do it online, but being my first time I do not know if I can do it. alternatively can I do it by mail (ems mail)? has anyone had experience? should I send all the documents two weeks before the deadline? thank you
Question about my 90-day report. I am on a year-long extension of stay of a non-O dependent visa (based on my husband's non-O volunteer visa, also extended at the same time). Our extension of stay (as well as our first 90-day report) was done in Ubon Ratchathani on July 2, so our next 90-day report is due at the end of September...which is right when I will be in Bangkok having a baby.
Given the unpredictable nature of when babies decide to be born, I can say with a fair degree of certainty that we won't be in Ubon within the time frame of reporting to our local immigration office.
Am I correct in my understanding that since we did our extension of stay in person that now we can do this next 90-day report by mail? If so, seems like we don't have a problem since we can just mail the paperwork from BKK to Ubon. If this is not correct, what are our options?
