Hi all. I've been doing my 90 day reporting via registered mail for the last 4 or 5 reports, and it's been no problem. Now I am moving Aug 26, and my question is, can I still do my 90 day via mail, simply filling in the new address? Or must I do it in person? Thanks for your help.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is asking if they can continue to submit their 90-day reporting via registered mail after moving to a new address, based on previous successful attempts. Comments show mixed opinions, with some users having mailed their reports after moves without issues, while others suggest that in-person notification of address changes (TM28) may be necessary.

I've actually done two previous moves without ever doing a TM28, but they were in person. This is my first move since sending them in via mail.

I'm in exactly the same position but just plan to mail in my next 90 day report with the new address. Other colleagues have done this without problems (no TM28 either).

, Just an FYI. A friend was out at Chaengwattana about 2:30 the other afternoon for his 90 day report and there was NOT a soul in the room waiting to file one. He was so shocked he thought they weren't accepting 90 day reports :O

Probably best to just suck it up and go in person. Thanks.

If you're gonna chance it, definitely fill out the TM.28 change of address form in addition to the TM.47 ..

If they reject it, they probably would reject your 90 day report too, making you late, AND making you have to go in person to pay the 2000baht failure to file fine and sign the book and get the stamp in your passport for failure to file :O

Thanks

, I've heard it both ways. My friend just wrote the new address in and mailed it and had no problem. Others say you must go in person.

Good question. I know a friend who does his 90 day reporting at Lad Prao (one of the locations we can use in Bangkok) had to go out to Chaengwattana and file his change of address in person before he could report at Lad Prao again.

I honestly dunno, sorry :/ Someone will weigh in hopefully
