Hi all, I am opening a Representative Office in Bangkok for my company. The registration of the business will be done soon and I will act as director. The company that is following the paperwork said that until few weeks ago I would not have needed Working Permit, but recently the law changed. The situation is not really clear and different sources give different version. until now I live and work in Vietnam ( I am Italian) and also the Thai Embassy here did not give clear feedback. I know that everything will be done by a lawyer, but I would like to know if any of this group encountered similar situation and how it went. Thanks all in advance.
Does any one have any experience and knowledge in relation to Free Trade Agreements and the setting up of a representative office in Thailand?
