Will staying over 100 days in Thailand affect my application for a DTV visa from another country?

I'm currently staying in Thailand. I've already been there for over 100 days this year. now I'm planning to go to another country and apply for a DTV visa soon. Will my stay of over 100 days this year affect my DTV visa application? If so, I'll apply for a DTV visa next year.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is concerned whether their stay of over 100 days in Thailand this year will affect their application for a DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) after traveling to another country. Comments suggest that having stayed a long time in Thailand without overstaying should not negatively impact the DTV application, as the visa is intended for individuals who work online and maintain long stays. Many respondents indicate that others have successfully applied for the DTV under similar circumstances.

This visa is made for exactly that reason, get a DTV visa and don't do border runs all the time.

Yes, that's right. I've never done a border run before. I stayed in Thailand for three months this year, then re-entered the country three months later, and have been here for less than a month now.

Try ED visa. You can change to it within Thailand.

Anonymous participant the Ed Visa is not a wise choice. Too much fraud in them. The DTV visa much better option.

Absolutely zero issue, the DTV was designed to legitimize people staying for long periods while working online etc.

I'd like to know if there were any issues with applying for a DTV visa in another country after staying in Thailand for a long period without a visa. I did not overstay. I'm currently in Thailand and plan to apply for a DTV in another country.

Anonymous participant I don't think you'll have a problem if no overstay. Please note you won't be able to apply for a bank account with this visa

Anonymous participant Have a look through previous posts in this group. Many have done exactly this. Been in Thailand on various visas including ED, B, VE for some time then obtained DTV in neighbouring countries with no issues.
