Hello, everyone!

Did any of you already re-entered with DTV visa? I spent 170 days in Thailand already and I am thinking about visiting Vietnam for a week and coming back. Will there be issue? Do the immigration officers asking for any additional document on re-entering?

Thank you so much!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion centers around the re-entry process into Thailand with a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) after visiting Vietnam. Users confirm that re-entering Thailand with a DTV visa is generally not an issue, provided you have the necessary documentation, such as the approval email or visa sticker. It is advised to check the immigration stamp for the validity period and to ensure compliance with reporting requirements after 90 days. Additionally, some suggest considering visa requirements for Vietnam depending on the traveler's nationality.

When did you get your DTV? I believe July 15th was the first day to apply (not approved). However if you were approved on July 15th, 170 days would be December 31st.

Sorry, I meant 150 days. Yes, I got it back in July 20th. Entered on July 25th. I will be leaving to Vietnam in 3 weeks so I will be total of 170 days here by the time I leave. Planning to come back for another 6 months after that.

yes that one was pretty smooth although I had to go in person.

The only issue you might have is that depending on your passport, you might need a visa for Vietnam, and you do not have much time left before you reach 180 days.

Not a problem. Many with DTV Visa have left and reentered. Some have done this many times.

Have the printed out email you received when your DTV application was approved.

Or.. if you have a Sticker for the DTV Visa in your passport, Thai Immigration Officers will see it.

Look at the STAMP the Thai Immigration Officer puts in your passport upon arrival. Make sure its for 180 days.
