My wife and are thinking about getting a DTV but when we were last in Thailand about 3 years, we overstayed our Visa because of a flight issue and had to pay an exit fine. I believe we overstayed by one day, maybe two, beyond the grace period.
I assume it's just harder, and depends on the embassy what the result is in trying to get a DTV. That said, any insight would be helpful!
Also, would it matter if we had new Passports or is the overstay info kept in the Thai computer system?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The community suggests that a minor overstay of one or two days is unlikely to negatively impact your chances of obtaining a Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) in Thailand. Several users shared their experiences of having overstayed their visas without facing issues when applying for a DTV. It appears that such overstays may not affect applications significantly unless they lead to blacklisting. Concerns about how overstay history is recorded have also been raised, particularly regarding the influence of having new passports.
I very much doubt a small overstay will act against you with regards to a DTV application. There have been posts by people who were blacklisted for overstay for a year being successful with DTV. So not let it stop you applying.
