Has anyone recently gone for a non-O Visa yearly renewal (retirement or marriage) in Bangkok (Chaeng Wattana)?
If so, was an income proof letter (affidavit) from an embassy sufficient?
I saw in other forum posts that some immigration offices are now asking for additional information (Thai bank statements and letter from bank), in addition to the letter from the embassy. So I'm wondering if it's now also the same at Chaeng Wattana. Last July when I did my first yearly extension, the letter from the embassy was sufficient.
TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry is about the current requirements for renewing a non-O Visa (for retirement or marriage) in Bangkok at the Chaeng Wattana immigration office, specifically if an income proof letter from an embassy remains sufficient or if additional documentation like Thai bank statements is now required.
