We are moving to Thailand end of November start of December then i want to apply for a NON-O visa.
I'm over 50 and married to a Thai wife and we have a house in Don Muang yet i'm not yet registered at this address.
So i asked the Dutch Embassy for Visa Support Letter for registration and my question is can i use
this letter as affidavit of proof of income as this visa support letter will state my nationality and my income and that way i not need to deposit 800K THB.
thanks for any advice in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user plans to move to Thailand and apply for a NON-O visa, asking if they can use a Visa Support Letter from the Dutch Embassy to prove income instead of the required 800K THB deposit. Comments indicate that an income affidavit from the embassy is sufficient, provided it states a monthly income of at least 40,000 THB for a marriage visa or 65,000 THB for a retirement visa. It is also suggested to obtain the NON-O visa prior to entering Thailand to facilitate an initial 90-day stay and to consider applying for a marriage visa if planning to work.

I got a email from the Dutch embassy this morning and they state that I can apply for this by email, post or in person so I can do this from my current address

If you have an income affidavit from your embassy, you don't need to show proof of money in the bank.
It will need to say you make at least 40,000 per month if you want to apply for marriage visa, or 65,000 per month if you want to apply for retirement visa.
