Hello again folks, thanks a million for your help with my retirement visa question. Immigration say I need a stamped income letter from my embassy instead of the bank statements but my statements show more than the required income each month... is this usual now?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is inquiring about the requirement for a stamped income letter from their embassy for a retirement visa in Thailand instead of providing bank statements, which show that they meet the necessary income criteria. Comments reveal that this requirement may vary depending on nationality, and it's noted that if the embassy provides an income affidavit, it will be essential to use that for the visa application process.

If your embassy provides an income affidavit then you MUST use that and can't use monthly income. Whether or not the Irish embassy does so I don't know.

Does that mean, if one has affidavid from embassy for income, one doesn't need to show how much is transferred to thai bank account, monthly? It is calculated by the amount shown in affidavid?
